The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) is a college conservatory for the performing arts located in Hollywood, CA. Designed by Rockefeller Partners Architects, the Cosmo Building project is an existing office building from the early 1900s that is being re-purposed to a black box theater. The building also houses classrooms, offices, conference rooms and theater staging rooms. Renovations made include demolition to the structure, build out, major electrical upgrades for theatrical lighting requiring new DWP service, structural retrofits, new HVAC systems, new restrooms and showers and general tenant improvements.
Responsibilities:
Searock Stafford CM is providing project and construction management services, including project budget development and maintenance, design management and coordination, general contractor procurement, existing facility coordination, schedule development and maintenance and construction administration.
